Study Permit Extension

Permit holders must submit an application for extension 30 days prior to the expiration date, to ensure their legal status in Canada; proof of paid tuition fees and course selection should be included in the application. Processing time is usually between 6-8 weeks, however, all students would retain their legal status, as long as they submitted an application for extension before the expiration date.

Possible Reason for Application Refusal:

Lack of financial support to provide for the student's tuition and daily expenses
Submitted Application contains mterials that, makes the visa officer believe that the applicant has hidden intentions;
Documents contain any misleading, untruthful, or fraudulent materials
